Strategic Business Development Manager - REIT & Industrial

Responsibilities
Develop and manage a portfolio of customers and partners comprised of REITs, Industrial Developers, architects, contractors, consultants, and large multi-national companies
Establish relationships with key industry decision makers focused on creating a network of owners, architects, developers, general contractors, and installers that promote FiberTite products
Work collaboratively with key stakeholders within the organization to ensure scope of deliverables, timelines and budgetary demands
Drive sales strategy for segments and work with fellow Strategic Business Development Managers and the Direct Sales teams to drive compliance and growth in sales and ensure brand awareness.
Independently pitch and close complex sales presentations
Lead negotiations with major companies and to key decision makers at the senior executive level and C-Suite.
Identify opportunities and direct product teams to fully support customer goals
Manage sales performance to meet and exceed target sales goals
Oversee accurate pipeline management and forecasting

Required
Strong background in managing sales activity and a proven track record in attaining sales goals
Comfortable discovering, engaging, and presenting solutions to high-level decision makers
Ability to collaborate with resources within Seaman Corporation and across customer and partner ecosystems
Grasp of engineering principles
Establish immediate credibility through preexisting connections
Demonstrate financial expertise, articulating unit economics during decision-making
Experience selling in the Commercial Real Estate Development and the REIT sectors, and to industrial developers and companies within the Fortune 500
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field such as Project Management, Business, or related discipline
10+ years experience selling in Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Development, REIT, Industrial, Developer, and within the Fortune 500
Experience across multiple disciplines of CRE, REIT, Industrial Developer (build-to-suite & speculative), architecture, and large multinational/multilocation companies
Proven capabilities in growing relationships at the senior executive level and C-Suite for global, Fortune 500
Demonstrated ability to develop opportunities and close new business or expansion sales
Successful track record of achieving immediate credibility; presenting varying ideas to create value and challenge the status quo; and able to think quickly, listen well, and understand how to react and modify approach in front of clients and other key influencers
Preferred
Experience selling in the Commercial Real Estate Development and the REIT sectors, and to industrial developers and companies within the Fortune 500 is preferred
