Responsibilities

Responsible for successfully managing an array of project management efforts, Quality Assurance and business relationship services that span across DHSMV and other entities.

Provide oversight and management to the Business Relationship Services Group, Quality Assurance and Service Management.

Responsible for the effective collaboration and communication with other divisions for their IT business needs.

Coordinate annual strategic initiatives for ISA.

Required

Proficient using MS Project and/or other PM related tools.

Proficient using Visio and other process documentation tools.

Proficiency in project management principles, methods, techniques and tools for the effective management of projects from initiation through implementation, as demonstrated through formal certification from a recognized project management professional organization, e.g., PMI.

Ability to effectively lead and motivate people.

Ability to handle multiple priorities and deal with ambiguity; Software development knowledge.

Experience in leading and supervising people.

Strong organization and planning skills.

Process development, implementation and improvement skills.

Strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills.

Ability to analyze data, identify problem areas, make improvement recommendations, and implement approved recommendations.

Ability to review project processes and data to quickly identify problem areas.

Ability to lead and develop ISA strategic initiatives that align with FLHSMV department goals, provide oversight and awareness to ISA leadership.

Ability to lead and manage the department’s Governance processes and reporting to all levels of management within the department.

Proficient in communication, ability to communicate at all levels within the department.

PMP Certification.
