Responsibilities
Functions as a business analytics analyst, SAS programmer, and report developer.
Collaborates with data owners to establish a Quality Control database for improved data accuracy.
Communicates data issues and proposes timely solutions.
Creates, modifies, validates, and publishes ad-hoc and ongoing reports.
Provides ongoing data support and strategic research for the Academic Services Division.
Collects quantitative data for analysis, interpretation, and decision-making.
Designs and develops metrics, predictive models, dashboards, and reports.
Provides data visualizations and executive summaries to communicate analysis to Academic leadership.
Offers training to stakeholders on data interpretation and analytical techniques.
Collaborates with leadership to improve organizational processes and outcomes.
Manages multiple projects, organizes work, and prioritizes based on shifting requests and deadlines.
Makes strategic decisions, identifies stakeholders, and conducts fact-finding.
Completes required Professional Development training hours per academic year.
Performs other assigned duties.

Required
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Information System, or closely related field with an emphasis on data visualization tools, SAS programming, research design, data modeling, data mining, and advanced analytics reporting.
Official transcripts required.
Ability to occasionally work extended hours beyond the regular 8:00 am to 5:00 pm workdays, especially during heavy registration peak times including nights and weekends to meet priority deadlines.
Two (2) or more years demonstrated expertise in strong SAS skill, SQL skill, PowerBI dashboard, Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Power Automate, Power Apps, Access, PowerPoint, etc.), SharePoint are required.
One (1) or more years of experience in Workday/ Ad Astra Scheduling software/ Boomi/ Edify (EAB) and work-related experience in higher education is preferred.
SAS Certificate(s), other statistical applications/tools (R or Python), and previous experience with utilizing analytical tools such as SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Enterprise Miner, SAS Visual Analytics are STRONGLY preferred.
Bilingual preferred.
Will be subject to a criminal background check. Some positions may be subject to a fingerprint check.
