Responsibilities

Identify and address data gaps essential for supporting go-to-market strategies.
Gather customer and market data from diverse sources.
Integrate and preprocess data to facilitate comprehensive analysis.
Conduct competitive landscape analyses to identify industry trends and potential disruptors.
Evaluate the organization's internal capabilities, resources, and opportunities for enhancement.
Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover patterns and valuable insights.
Generate a list of innovative ideas and potential experiments based on data insights.
Build robust business cases, quantifying the value proposition for each idea.
Conduct feasibility analyses and experiments to assess viability and effectiveness.
Develop AI/ML models and proof of concepts to support strategic initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to formulate an AI/ML strategy for the organization.
Utilize technical expertise in AI/ML to advise on potential use cases and implementation strategies.
Conduct financial and risk analyses for proposed strategic initiatives.
Develop scenario plans and contingency strategies to navigate potential challenges.
Gather customer and market insights to identify growth opportunities.
Engage with key stakeholders to align on strategic priorities and secure buy-in.
Create a detailed implementation plan featuring clear milestones and change management strategies.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders across the organization.
Provide regular reports and presentations to communicate project progress, findings, and recommendations.
Coordinate and drive data science initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timely delivery.

Required

Minimum Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 6 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 4 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience; or 18 years' experience in a related field
Requires strong knowledge of AI/ML implementation and technical expertise
Excellent communication and presentation skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization
Experience working with AWS services and tools
3-5 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or related fields
Fluency in a general programming language, e.g., Python
Machine Learning: The ability to build and implement a variety of common supervised and unsupervised models; expertise in model selection, tuning, implementation, and maintenance; deep knowledge of several standard ML libraries
Expertise in at least two of the following areas: Statistics: Strong understanding of generalized linear models, time series models, forecasting techniques, cluster analysis, and principal component analysis; Operations Research: Strong understanding of linear and mixed-integer optimization, discrete event simulation, heuristic methods, and network flow analysis; Machine Learning: The ability to build and implement a variety of common supervised and unsupervised models; expertise in model selection, tuning, implementation, and maintenance; deep knowledge of several standard ML libraries
