Responsibilities

Partner cross-functionally to develop financial models that drive forecasting, strategic decision making, and initiative prioritization for Instacart Ads

Generate monthly and quarterly performance and forecast reviews, board meeting and investor presentations, and other financial review presentations for leadership teams

Conduct ad hoc financial modeling and analysis, such as building KPI-based models

Contribute to short and long range P&L planning

Design and implement financial processes that use internal data and KPI’s to monitor and forecast financial performance of advertising business

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, CS, Math, Economics, Finance, Business or other related field

2-4 years work experience in a relevant field with demonstrated financial acumen and a track record of leveraging data for business impact

Proficient in Excel modeling with strong attention to detail

Strong communication skills and comfort working with internal stakeholders

A self-starter with a positive attitude and ability to work in a rapidly changing environment

Preferred

Work experience in consulting, investment banking, or Strategic Finance at a high-growth technology company preferred

Work experience with digital advertising or SAAS is a plus but not required

SQL knowledge is preferred but not required
