Responsibilities

Perform structural analysis and calculations

Prepare technical reports

Prepare cost estimates

Develop drawings

Extensive knowledge of and proficiency in applicable DOE orders, codes, and standards

Emphasis on IBC, ASCE, AISC, ASTM, ACI and related structural codes and standards

Experienced in the application of structural analysis software, i.e., ANSYS, STAAD

Experience with safety significant nuclear facilities and development of nuclear safety basis documentation

Required

BS degree or higher in structural engineering or related discipline

Minimum 10 years’ experience

Perform structural analysis and calculations
