Responsibilities
Lead the planning, designing and the engineering of primarily residential projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
Oversee the development of detailed structural drawings, calculations, and specifications.
Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to deliver integrated and cost-effective solutions.
Help build a strong and expanding team of structural CAD operators and engineers.
Perform advanced structural analysis and design for various types of projects
Conduct site visits and inspections to assess structural conditions and provide recommendations for repairs or improvements.
Utilize advanced software tools and technologies for structural modeling and analysis.
Train and provide technical guidance to junior engineers, CAD operators and designers.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the team.
Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance the technical skills of team members.
Ensure buildable drawings are generated that can be built with the estimated productions hours.
Review and approves the labor efficiency through correctly engineered projects, and well-trained designers and project managers.

Required
California Professional Engineer (Structural)
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Minimum of 10 years of experience in structural engineering, with a proven track record
Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., RAM, CAD, Revit)
Strong knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., CBC, LABC, ACI, AISC, etc.)
