Responsibilities
Plan, schedule, conduct or coordinate detailed phases of engineering work
Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, and other data to plan projects
Perform design computations and develop construction cost estimates
Design projects per client specifications using design software
Prepare engineering documents for advertisement and construction
Manage project sub-consultants and support disciplines
Develop extra work order requests and proposals
Attend client meetings and ensure project completion on time with quality

Required
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field from an ABET accredited engineering program
5-10 years’ experience in specialized discipline
Proficient in discipline specific design software
Proficient in typical office software such as Microsoft Office and Outlook
Written and communication skills
Pennsylvania Professional Engineer License (or able to obtain within 6 months of hire)
Preferred
Certified Bridge Safety Inspector certification
Familiarity with AASHTO Bridge Design Specifications and PennDOT standards
Open Bridge Modeler exposure
Experience working in MicroStation
Master’s degree in civil engineering
Experience in structural analysis software (e.g. CSiBridge, Midas, etc.)
Experience working with local clients at the county and state level
