Responsibilities
Manage technical and clinical denials, ensuring proper validation and resolution
Collaborate with Case Management and Centralized Scheduling to comply with denial/appeal processes
Create action plans for process improvement and address gaps in workflows
Develop systematic reporting mechanisms to analyze denial trends and report findings to management
Generate appeals based on dispute reasons and contract terms specific to payers

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Healthcare, or a related field
At least five years of managed care appeal experience
Focused experience in denials and appeals management
Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Preferred
Experience in critical thinking and problem-solving within healthcare workflows
Ability to build effective working relationships across various departments
Knowledge of payer guidelines for appeals submission and denial trends
Experience in analyzing and communicating measurement results
