Responsibilities

Direct and coordinate six skilled laboratory professionals to execute small-scale virology production processes

Ensure effective operation of lab equipment, maintain supply inventories, and oversee waste reduction, quality, and safety

Collaborate with Quality, Procurement, Planning, Facilities, and other Operations departments to ensure timely and efficient production of high-quality products

Provide technical reviews of production batch records to ensure quality and accuracy

Compile data for budgets, metrics, and key performance indicators

Facilitate tech transfer of new equipment and processes

Drive continuous improvement in processes and documentation

Required

Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years’ experience or equivalent.

Previous experience in leading and coordinating laboratory staff.

Strong organizational and project management skills.

In-depth knowledge of QA requirements, regulatory standards, and protocols in a laboratory setting.

Ability to adapt to changing priorities and evolving laboratory needs.

Prior hands-on cell culture and virology experience required to oversee team.

Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to direct and coordinate staff, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
