Responsibilities

Prepare, formulate and execute the budget for the department.
Coordinate and prepare briefings for senior leadership and external stakeholders.
Coordinate procurement and support service contract planning and execution.
Facilitate compliance with operational and administrative requirements.
Develop staff through assessment of training needs, goal setting, and creation of professional development plans.
Prepare technical reports and responses to inquiries from Congress or other external stakeholders.

Required

You must be a United States Citizen.
This employer participates in the e-Verify program.

This position is eligible for remote work. If selected, it is required to sign a remote work agreement detailing remote working conditions and expectations for position. Work may only be performed from a location in the U.S.
You are required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, Executive Branch Personnel Confidential Financial Disclosure Report within 30 days of entering the position and annually.
First time supervisors will be required to serve a 1-year probationary period.
This position has been designated as PUBLIC TRUST. A preliminary background check must be completed before a new employee can begin work.
This position requires a Level I Contract Officer Representative (COR) certification.
A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-14 in the Federal service.
Specialized experience for this position is defined as meeting ALL of the following: Manage internal and external communications for the department; Prepare, formulate and execute the budget for the department; Facilitate compliance with departmental operational and administrative requirements.
You must provide documentation for COR Level 1.
Current Federal employees must meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement to receive consideration.
You must meet all qualifications and eligibility requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
