Responsibilities

On-site operational assessment of Supplier Condition/Consensus with Supply Development or Supply Continuity team on path forward activity
Root Cause analysis and elimination via permanent corrective action application and validation via KPI tracking
Work with supplier to be EDI compliant
Progress Report to customer OEM Project Manager
Supplier /Action Item Status Tracker (Weekly)
Identify and communicate any High-Risk Supplier Conditions
Develop summary of issues/action for Escalation Requests
Validate Supplier Capacity/Production Allocation
Consultant may work from home when not traveling or at a supplier facility.
Travel projected at 90%.

Required

Capable of operating with minimal oversight and leading a team/group
Ability to adapt to change, lead multiple projects at one time
Strong Supplier development / project management experience
Demonstrated critical thinking/problem solving skills
Ability to assess situation, escalate as necessary to drive timely problem resolution
Understands root cause analysis tools such as fishbone/ Ishikawa and 3L5Y
Establish and track interim and permanent corrective actions (ICA/PCA), both operational and systemic
Utilize leading Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for evaluation of corrective action effectiveness
Recovery plan assessment/management (plan vs actual)
Strong, demonstrated Manufacturing or Quality background

Preferred

Lean Manufacturing/Value Stream Mapping (VSM) a plus, but not a requirement
General Material Requirements Planning (MRP) / Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) understanding
Multi-lingual (especially Spanish) a plus
