Responsibilities

Clear to Build readiness, including material tracking and management.

Create scalable reporting/modeling for material readiness.

Standardize the process and analyze supplier-provided data to report material shortages.

Identify escalation requirements.

Monitor build performance of suppliers, commodity capacity/risk mitigation, and support tooling integration.

Facilitation of purchase orders, hardware receiving, and driving continuous process improvements of our supplier’s material management.

Required

Experience with NPI material sourcing to clear to build dates

Experience working to collect quotes and issue PO and close purchase orders

Cost analysis, undertaking purchase price variants and cost analysis against commodity and sourcing pricing

Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to analyze material Clear to Build reports, lead times and other technical data

Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to purchasing

Cost analysis experience and knowledge of EMS/ODM/JDM/OEM business models, consignment & turnkey materials management, cost modeling, supply chain design, and reverse logistics a plus

Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, macros and VBA, data simulations, conditional formatting)

Previous experience with computer applications, and reporting tools such as Tableau

Preferred

Full understanding of NPI and manufacturing process and how rack servers and tech is assembled

Understanding of how to put together a WIP report, and waterfall analysis of clear to build

Fluent in Mandarin
