Responsibilities
Sources and procures specialized goods and services.
Owns contractual management for the supplier.
Coordinates and collaborates with key stakeholders for source selection.
Develops subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions.
Prepares bid packages, conducts competitions, evaluates proposals, and negotiates subcontract provisions.
Manages performance of subcontracts, ensures compliance, and assesses supplier performance.
Identifies cost reduction opportunities and manages strategic suppliers.
Reviews and approves supplier payments, utilizes Lean Six Sigma with suppliers, and interfaces with senior leadership.

Required
Bachelor's Degree with at least 3-years of experience, or a master’s degree with at least 1-year of experience in Subcontracts, Procurement, or other supply chain experience
7 years of Supply chain experience, including but not limited to Subcontracts, Procurement or Project Management may be considered in lieu of a degree
Experience with SAP or another similar purchasing system
Must be able to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Government DoD security clearance at the Secret level within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs
Preferred
Bachelor's degree or master’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or Procurement
Strong working knowledge of FAR and DFARS regulations
Experience with management of high dollar subcontract or complex subcontracts
Experience issuing and managing purchase orders/subcontracts from beginning to end of life cycle
Active Top-Secret DoD Clearance
If candidate has a Top Secret clearance, candidate must have and be able to maintain an active U.S. Government security clearance at the Top Secret level with a background investigation date within 5 years
