Responsibilities

Help build, market, and validate a food sustainability scoring system that considers a product's carbon footprint, water footprint, and other growing practices.

Guide product life-cycle assessment (LCA) and sustainable agriculture research.

Provide expertise in LCA modeling, carbon footprinting, food systems, and regulatory standards.

Contribute to R&D initiatives related to analyzing and deriving foods' sustainability attributes.

Enhance the company's offerings and ensure alignment with industry standards.

Required

Master's or Ph.D. in Sustainable Agriculture, Life Cycle Assessments, Environmental Science, or related field

LCA research and food carbon footprint modeling expertise

Knowledge of regulatory requirements in LCAs, carbon labeling and Scope 1-3 GHG reporting

Knowledge and passion for knowing the latest in the food sustainability and impact measurement landscape and tech-enabled sustainability interventions

Research and Development (R&D) skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and remotely
