Responsibilities

Work directly with the System Admin and Network Team to support the operations and maintenance of the customer's environment.

Oversee the daily SolarWinds execution and maintain an expert view of the current IT infrastructure.

Configure SolarWinds to meet the specific needs of the organization.

Use SolarWinds to monitor the performance and availability of network and systems.

Ensure the status of nodes within the platform is up to date by reviewing muted/unmanaged nodes and importing new nodes.

Collaborate with the IT operations team to create reports and dashboards.

Analyze the current environment for adherence to best practices and provide suggestions to improve platform utilization.

Keep the platform updated with the latest SolarWinds releases.

Document procedures and configurations in knowledgebase articles.

Perform on-call duties as needed, including after-hours supportAct as point of escalation for any critical outages of the SolarWinds Monitoring System, including but not limited to, resolving availability issues, restoration of failed systems, and invoking disaster recovery procedures.

Implement service improvements/enhancements using the full capabilities of SolarWinds, which include, but are not limited to, automation of routine activities, optimization of resources.
