Responsibilities
Understands business objectives and problems, identifies alternative solutions, performs studies and cost/benefit analysis of alternatives.
Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing computer system
Confers with personnel of organizational units involved to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements, such as forms of data input, how data is to be; summarized, and formats for reports.
Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer program.
Reviews computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system.
Duties may include server administration tasks, domain/DNS tasks, Administrating user/domain security, and ITIL - ticketing.
The system analyst will provide support for critical TIERS systems, 24x7 on-call rotation is required.
Some weekend work is required.
Support may require on-premises work at times.

Required
High level knowledge and experience of network facilities and data processing techniques, of computer hardware and software, of network operating system and security software, and of performance monitoring and capacity management tools.
Extensive knowledge and experience using LDAP/Windows Active Directory, Microsoft SQL Server, and Hypervisor Experience with Hyper-V and VMware.
Knowledge and experience of administering Windows Systems (Group Policy, Kerberos, NTLM, TCP/IP, WINS, DNS, DHCP, PXE), Linux, Network Administration, IT Governance, and Security/Privacy policies and tools. In-depth knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP, DN.
Strong ability to identify problems/issues, analyze and evaluate alternatives and recommend/implement effective solutions.
Experience supporting Windows and Linux systems with cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, etc).
Experience providing server and application support on a 24X7 on-call basis and on a rotating schedule basis. Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.
Experience with server hardware equipment replacement/upgrades.
Experience ITIL - ticketing using Remedy and ServiceNow.
Preferred
Ability to prepare concise written reports appropriate to the audience. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Ability to plan and coordinates server maintenance activities with Data Center Contractor and CSPs services, including security patching and other activities related to the TIERS Security Program. May assist in Data Center Maintenance Coordination.
Experience supporting Microsoft SQL Server Enterprise. Experience installing and implementing SQL Server clustered environment.
Experience managing Web Application Firewall system (Imperva and/or AWS WAF).
