Responsibilities
Provides technical support for system requirements development, analyses, evaluation, and assessment.
Supports design, development, testing, and implementation of systems adhering to industry standards.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and propose solutions.
Offers technical guidance, mentorship, and risk assessments on system requirements.
Prepares technical reports, documentation, and proposals for stakeholders.
Develops Systems Engineering Management Plans and interface control documents.
Participates in technical customer interactions and contributes to product safety assessments.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 10+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, preferably in DOD.
Proficiency in system design and architecture, with experience in system integration and testing.
Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks, such as MIL-STD-810, DO-178C, and ISO/IEC 15288.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including customers.
Security clearance or willingness to obtain one, as required for Defense Programs.
Experience with requirements management tools, such as DOORS.
Experience with Defense/Military Certification processes and requirements.
Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry.
Ability to work successfully in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment in fielding of capabilities to Customers.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Proven track record of providing technical leadership to small, high performing teams.
