Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure Design: Design, architect, and implement cloud infrastructure solutions based on business requirements and best practices.
Deployment and Configuration: Deploy and configure cloud services, including virtual machines, containers, databases, and networking components.
Automation: Develop automation scripts and templates for provisioning, configuration management, and orchestration of cloud resources using tools like Terraform or Ansible
Security: Implement security best practices and compliance standards for cloud environments, including encryption, and network security.
Monitoring and Optimization: Set up monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and address performance issues, optimize resource utilization, and reduce costs.
Disaster Recovery and High Availability: Design and implement disaster recovery and high availability solutions to ensure business continuity and minimize downtime.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and cybersecurity professionals, to support cloud-based applications and services.
Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, deployment guides, and standard operating procedures.
Training and Support: Provide training and support to internal teams on cloud technologies and best practices.

Required
Ability to obtain or currently possess Canadian Protected B security clearance
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure solutions
Proficiency in one or more cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure
Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, and load balancing
Experience with infrastructure as code tools and techniques
Knowledge of containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred
Cloud certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect)
Experience with hybrid cloud environments and migration strategies
Knowledge of cloud-native architectures and microservices
Familiarity with compliance frameworks, such as GDPR, HIPAA, or SOC 2
