Responsibilities

Provide expert tax consulting services to clients in the energy industry, with a focus on Green Energy.

Interpret and apply tax regulations and incentives such as the Investment Tax Credit (ITC) and the Production Tax Credit (PTC).

Conduct comprehensive tax research and analysis to ensure clients are fully utilizing available tax incentives and credits.

Prepare and review complex tax returns and reports for clients in the energy industry.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their tax needs are met and exceeded.

Keep abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations that could impact clients and provide proactive advice and solutions.

Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure a consistent and integrated approach to client service.

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

A minimum of 5 years' experience in tax consulting, with a specific focus on the energy industry.

In-depth knowledge of tax regulations and incentives in the energy sector, particularly the Investment Tax Credit (ITC) and the Production Tax Credit (PTC).

Proven experience in Green Energy consulting.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.

Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.

A commitment to continuous learning and development in tax consulting and the energy industry.
