Required

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
Minimum of 8 - 10 years of experience in tax planning and compliance
5 years in a leadership role leading a tax team
Strong technical expertise in Texas federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
Experience with operating companies and high-net worth owners
A strategic tax planning skill set to be that advisor that can help businesses manage tax liability
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and colleagues
Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to inspire and motivate the tax team to achieve common goals in a coaching environment
Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development
Ability to relocate to Austin, TX before starting work
