Responsibilities

Prepare, review and file various types of tax returns including personal, trust and gift tax returns

Conduct detailed income tax planning and projections for our clients to optimize their tax outcomes

Manage and coordinate estimated tax payments to ensure timely and accurate payments

Maintain accurate financial records and perform bookkeeping for a select portfolio of clients

Organize and save client monthly account statements in a secure and accessible manner

Engage in the preparation and distribution of engagement letters for trust tax clients

Be involved in various strategic projects as needed, providing support and insights

Utilize Lacerte Tax Software and Microsoft Excel in performing daily tasks and responsibilities

Apply tax planning strategies and use your CPA skills to benefit our clients

Handle individual tax returns, ensuring thoroughness and accuracy.

Required

Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Tax Preparer

Proficiency in Lacerte Tax Software is required

Strong skills in Microsoft Excel are necessary

Experience with Estate Tax is a must

Knowledge of Tax Planning Strategies is essential

Experience in preparing Individual Tax Return is required

Preferred

CPA certification is preferred
