Responsibilities
Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts in the AEC industry.
Conduct tax research and provide technical expertise on various tax issues and regulations.
Assist clients with tax planning and advisory services to optimize tax strategies and ensure compliance.
Coordinate and manage tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
Mentor junior tax staff, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
Collaborate with other departments to deliver comprehensive and integrated tax solutions.
Stay current on tax laws, regulations, and industry trends to ensure the firm's services remain competitive and relevant.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor.

Required
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in tax, with a focus on the AEC industry.
Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Great communication and client relationship skills.
Proficient in using tax software and Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred
CPA preferred.
