Responsibilities

Assist with preparation and filing of tax returns.
Update client information including account numbers, changes, and similar data.
Processing daily tax work for active and lost clients.
Resolve client questions expediently with a high level of service and communicate with them regarding tax activity, prior quarter balancing issues, amended returns and tax jurisdiction correspondences
Follow up on tax issues to assure problem has been resolved and client or specialist communication/update has occurred.
Communicate with clients for issues regarding tax jurisdiction correspondences.
Communicate with internal and external customers regarding tax inquiries
Process tax adjustments
Maintain and update work cases in Salesforce including progress and communication to customers.
Set a positive work example for peers and influence a working environment that is energized and consistently demonstrates the Paycor service commitment.

Required

Detail oriented, strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical proven skills.
Must be able to work in a team environment, as well as independently
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.
Ability to interface with multiple departments, multi-task, and work independently.
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Excellent understanding of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, and Excel.
Adherence to schedule and role assignments to ensure timely responses.

Preferred

1 year of prior Accounting, Business or Paycor experience
2+ year of Payroll/ Tax experience
