Responsibilities
Supervise a team of 6-10 entry-level tax specialists, providing guidance, direction, and coaching to enhance their skills and performance.
Review tax returns prepared by the team for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with Federal and State tax laws.
Provide high-level customer service, resolving client issues in a timely and professional manner.
Listen to phone calls between tax specialists and clients to ensure proper procedures are being followed and to identify areas for improvement.
Provide strategic tax advice to clients, utilizing your deep understanding of tax laws and regulations.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Federal and State tax laws and regulations, and ensure this knowledge is effectively communicated to the team.
Ensure the team is fully prepared and efficient during the busy tax season, managing workloads and schedules effectively.

Required
A minimum of 2+ years of experience in a tax-related role, with a specific focus on Federal and State Tax laws.
Need to be an EA (enrolled agent) or CPA.
Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to resolve client issues effectively and professionally.
Strong listening skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement in communication and procedure.
High-level knowledge of tax laws and regulations, with the ability to provide strategic tax advice to clients.
Ability to work effectively under pressure, particularly during the busy tax season.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred
A relevant degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance, or a related field is highly desirable.
