Responsibilities

RTTM (FICC), TBA Allocations, TBA Netting, Pool Netting, and the Specified Pool Markets

Client trade allocations, trade confirmations, new account requests, and resolution of day-to-day issues

Support MBS sales and trading desk, interact with customer accounts, and facilitate money manager sub-account allocations

Establish close working relationships with various departments including Trading Desk, Sales Desk, Clearance, Technology, Credit, Legal & Compliance, and Trade Accounting

Manage issues and queries with clarity and urgency

Collaborate with Global Operations and Business Services teams for settlements, new accounts, reference data, and change delivery to support Fixed Income business growth

Provide training, guide junior staff, and support multiple functions within the business

Have knowledge of Fixed Income Mortgage Backed Securities trade life cycle management, Broadridge MBSE, and TBA allocations

Operate as a working lead on initiatives, represent the group as a project lead, and provide training to others on best practices

Required

5+ years relevant experience and/or post-graduate degree and/or certifications

Team player, collaborate with others teams, encourages other team members to participate and acknowledges the contributions of others.

Able to work in a fast pace, deadline sensitive environment and possess good communication skills

A self-starter who is comfortable in a complex role that interfaces regularly with clients, front office, technology, finance, and trade support teams

A mindset of critical thinking, risk management and understanding the needs of TDS’s clients and internal business partners

Strong judgement and problem solving – Thinks ahead, anticipates questions, finds alternative solutions and identifies clear objectives

Confident with strong communication skills and an ability to articulate complex issues in a concise manner

Strong knowledge of MS Office Excel, Word and PowerPoint a plus

Moderate level of complexity in operational/reporting/process and/or analysis function requiring a short to medium term focus

May operate as a working lead on initiatives as assigned

May represent the group as a project lead on initiatives/projects and/or at meetings across the organization.

Provides training to others on best practices, processes, etc. as well as guide junior staff for the completion of business as usual functions

Ability to support multiple functions within the broader businesses

Has knowledge of Fixed Income Mortgage Backed Securities trade life cycle management

Knowledge of Broadridge MBSE and TBA allocations a plus

Knowledge of Broadridge Impact/NAPE systems a plus
