Responsibilities

Guide and manage a group of software engineers.

Contribute to the codebase.

Lead technical and process improvements in the department.

Help guide and grow development teams.

Coach direct reports using a data-driven and empathetic approach.

Work with multiple departments to drive initiatives and complete projects.

Support the professional growth of direct reports.

Leverage experience and skills to coach others in the organization.

Required

7 or more years of experience as a software engineer or similar role

Experience leading diverse groups of people in an Agile environment

Strong staff leadership skills

Solid technical aptitudes

Ability to guide people through the technical designs, challenges, and risks of a project

Experience with the entire software development life cycle

Ability to work closely with all roles in the company like software engineers, quality assurance engineers, product owners, IT engineers, and client service

Track record of guiding the professional growth of direct reports

Ability to coach direct reports and others in both the department and organization
