Responsibilities

Provide leadership and direction in the requirements and design phases of a project to define and design both the business and technology solutions.

Create logical and physical design artifacts to be consumed by the business and technology teams.

Supervise the work of the technical team to define the high-level and low-level tasks required to deliver the business and technology solution.

Work one on one with technical team members to estimate and refine estimates to complete low-level tasks.

Ensures that maintenance and enhancement practices are followed to support service level agreements for system availability.

Liaisons with other technology teams within the organization as necessary to support projects for which there are dependencies or adjacencies.

Works with peers within the department to define, institute, and govern architectural standards.

Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.

Design, develop, and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and consequences of design.
