Responsibilities

Review daily customer order volume and communicate to employees.

Coordinate and schedule production order priorities based on the basic finish date

Analyze and resolve work problems or assist employees in solving work problems.

Make and/or encourage suggestions to motivate employees in attaining departmental KPIs and Company Goals.

Drives continuous improvement efforts and OPEX initiatives.

Implements and maintains Shop Floor Management (SFM) practices.

Train new and/or existing employees in required tasks, work instructions, and introduction of new products.

Drives problem-solving activities within the Value Stream.

Suggests and implements improvements in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew.

Responsible for communicating changes in the production requirements to ensure proper completion of all work assigned on the shop floor, in accordance with ISO requirements.

Use inspection tools such as vernier calipers, micrometers, tape measures, torque wrenches, multimeters, plug gauges, dial indicators, thread ring gauges, thread plug gauges, flowmeters, etc.

Coordinate Scrap and Cycle Counting Activities within the Value Stream.

Provide objective feedback to management regarding ongoing employee performance and performance appraisals.

Coordinates with other departments such as Material Management, Quality, other Value Streams etc.

Communicates and maintains adherence to Company policies, safety, and good housing practices

Communicate with Management and other employees throughout the department and RSC.
