Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of developers, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to best practices.
Architect and implement scalable solutions using GCP services such as BigQuery, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Storage.
Design and optimize complex SQL queries for analytics, reporting, and application needs. Develop and maintain backend systems and APIs using Python.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, identify bottlenecks, and propose innovative solutions.
Ensure security, reliability, and performance of cloud-based applications.
Stay updated with emerging trends in cloud computing and software development to continuously improve our technology stack.

Required

Proven experience as a Tech Lead or senior developer in cloud-based environments.
Expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including hands-on experience with key services.
Proficiency in Python and strong programming skills in developing scalable and maintainable applications.
Advanced SQL knowledge, including query optimization and database design.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and Agile development methodologies.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound technical decisions.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred

Familiarity with machine learning or data engineering workflows on GCP.
Knowledge of other programming languages like Java or Go.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
