Responsibilities

System Architecture: Design and optimize scalable, secure, and interoperable IT systems aligned with project goals.
System Administration: Oversee maintenance, updates, and security of IT environments, ensuring high availability and compliance.
Technical Leadership: Guide technical teams through system design and implementation phases, employing Agile methodologies.
Security Compliance: Ensure all systems adhere to federal standards such as FISMA, HIPAA, and NIST.
Cloud Operations: Manage deployment and integration in AWS or Azure environments, including migration and ongoing optimization tasks.

Required

Minimum 8 years in IT roles covering system architecture, administration, and technical leadership, particularly within federal or healthcare environments.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Expertise in cloud hosting environments (AWS, Azure), multi-factor authentication solutions (e.g., Okta), and system integration.
Hands-on experience with content management platforms such as Drupal and Acquia.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity, IT infrastructure management, and compliance with Section 508/WCAG standards.
Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, and automated backup systems.
Knowledge of clinical informatics and Health IT standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR).
Demonstrated experience in government IT projects, including Health IT.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills to align technical solutions with organizational objectives.

AWS Certification (Required)

Preferred

Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, CompTIA Security+, or PMP preferred
