Responsibilities
Proficiency of the sales cycle from manufacturing stage to the delivery and customer satisfaction stage.
Develop methods and procedures to increase sales, expand markets, and promote business.
Continue to adopt and utilize important tools in our digitalization journey.
Assist in establishing relationships and creating an environment to defend and preserve existing sales.
Identifies new market opportunities as well as target builds; seeks out competitive & market information.
Establishes and maintains processes that ensure accurate budget and forecast information for the business.
Listen to and resolve customer complaints regarding services, products, or personnel.
Conduct frequent account planned visits, interacting on a recurrent basis with key customers.
Research and understand your target market and key economic conditions / issues at major accounts.
Work closely with sales support, supply chain, customer service, etc.
Formulate, monitor and improve selling plans and all sales-related activities, in alignment with the strategic imperatives of the business.
Attending trainings for suppliers, IMCD and sales meetings.
Consistent use of Salesforce.com for maintaining up to date customer interaction and pipeline management.
Other duties as assigned.

Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or General Sciences preferred.
Five years of sales experience in the chemical or related industry.
Possess excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact with customers and team members in a professional manner.
Experience in a fast-paced environment.
Extremely ambitious with the drive and commitment to succeed.
Passionate and committed to contributing to continued sales growth.
Ability to multitask and switch focus quickly.
Ability to think independently.
Deadline-driven, detail oriented, and conscientious.
Must possess good organizational skills and the ability to think strategically.
Proficient with common computer programs, including Microsoft Office.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred
Master’s Degree or Technical degree.
Formulation and/or formula production experience is a plus.
Experience in Plastic, Rubber, or Composite markets preferred.
