Responsibilities
Design, build, and support data-intensive, high-performance API-based cloud computing platforms
Leverage cloud-based technologies and emerging AI solutions to drive innovation and efficiency, ensuring cost effectiveness
Develop and implement a roadmap for transforming on-premise infrastructure into cloud environments while leveraging cloud-ready platforms
Optimize cloud security policies and maintain high standards of network security and performance with regular monitoring
Support business workloads with effective cloud use cases and financially efficient cloud economics
Collaborate with R&D and Product Delivery teams to make informed technology decisions, such as system architecture design, technology stack selection, and cloud service management
Ensure Algo’s technical leadership has the expertise to develop and maintain scalable and cost effective IT and cloud strategies
Provide insight into current technical trends and emerging technologies that support growth and innovation
Establish frameworks for robust data security and incident management across platforms
Incorporate financial insight into architectural decisions, ensuring solutions are optimized for cost as well as performance
Manage relationships with cloud service providers and negotiate vendor agreements

Required
Experience as an Architect, Technical Lead, or similar role in a global organization
Recent experience in a start-up software company or in the cloud industry
Strong understanding of cloud-based technologies and platforms, with a focus on Azure and knowledge of AWS native stacks
Demonstrated ability to provide strategic architectural guidance to development and deployment teams
Ability to incorporate financial insight into architectural decisions, ensuring solutions are optimized for cost as well as performance
Curiosity and knowledge of AI and machine learning applications within a product setting
Ability to effectively manage, develop, and collaborate with global technology teams
Strong communication and leadership skills: motivational, interpersonal, and a focus on team growth and development
Highly analytical with the ability to translate between strategic business decisions and technical implications
Dedication to systemic thinking and a demonstrable history of process improvement
Expertise in scoping, budgeting, and resource allocation for technology initiatives
Deep understanding of IT security risks and mitigation strategies
Ability to manage relationships with cloud service providers and negotiate vendor agreements
Technology degree with a Master’s Degree in Business or Technical Specialization or equivalent experience
