Responsibilities
Develop and implement a strategic vision for SAP Commerce Cloud and Mirakl platforms, ensuring they align with overall business objectives and digital commerce goals.
Oversee the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) from requirement gathering to deployment and maintenance, ensuring robustness and scalability of e-commerce solutions.
Provides design recommendations based on long-term IT organization strategy utilizing appropriate software engineering processes.
Act as the primary point of contact for all vendor relationships related to the e-commerce tech stack, negotiating contracts, and managing service level agreements to ensure optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.
Evaluate and select technology solutions that enhance the e-commerce architecture, focusing on long-term scalability and integration capabilities.
Ensure continuous improvement and maintenance of the platforms, focusing on system performance metrics, uptime, and transactional integrity.
Lead efforts in platform security, compliance audits, and adaptations to meet changing regulations and business requirements.
Stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements in e-commerce to integrate innovative solutions that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
Plan and manage the roadmap for upgrading and scaling e-commerce platforms, including the integration of AI and ML technologies to enhance personalization and customer engagement.
Collaborate with IT specialists, business stakeholders, and external partners to ensure that platform developments support both technical and business perspectives.
Provide technical guidance and support to Business Product Owners, ensuring that project scopes and deliverables meet technical standards and business expectations.
Serves as an active mentor, and escalation point for development and support.

Required
7+ years experience in managing SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) marketplace (Mirakl), and Google Analytics platforms, with a strong understanding of their architecture, standard functionalities, and customization capabilities.
5+ years experience in managing ecommerce solutions (non specific)
5+ years of deep knowledge of software development practices, including agile methodologies, DevOps, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) frameworks.
5+ years of strong background in system architecture design, particularly in e-commerce, with experience in API management, microservices, and headless commerce.
5+ years experience with applications that integrate with data solutions (DW, ML, AI)
5+ years experience with .Net, Java, C#, SQL, Python or R
3+ years experience presenting and engaging with business partners and stakeholders as a direct responsibility
Strong master data experience, particularly product & customer data
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, capable of managing cross functional, multi shore teams and complex stakeholder relationships.
Excellent business-writing skills, ability to synthesize complex concepts, and translate to business opportunity
Proven, excellence in planning, priority setting, and project management skills to manage multiple projects and resources in a fast-paced environment

This is a remote position.
Preferred
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or related field; additional certifications in SAP Hybris, Project Management (PMP), or Agile methodologies are highly advantageous.
