Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into detailed technical and functional requirements.

Conduct interviews, workshops, and document analysis to gather and validate requirements.

Develop user stories, use cases, process flows, and workflows.

Work closely with developers, system architects, and IT teams to ensure technical feasibility and compatibility with existing systems.

Act as a point of contact for clarifying technical requirements and ensuring alignment between business and IT teams.

Create technical documentation, including data mapping, system architecture diagrams, and integration specifications.

Assist in designing technical solutions that meet business needs while considering scalability, security, and performance.

Evaluate and recommend technology solutions and enhancements.

Participate in the selection of vendors, platforms, and tools.

Develop test cases, scenarios, and acceptance criteria to validate solutions.

Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and address any issues or gaps in the delivered solution.

Ensure adherence to quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Provide ongoing support during implementation phases, ensuring seamless integration and addressing any technical challenges.

Track project progress, risks, and issues, and escalate as needed.

Facilitate change management and training sessions for end-users.

Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Communicate project updates, risks, and deliverables effectively.

Bridge the gap between non-technical stakeholders and IT teams by translating technical jargon into business-friendly language.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience as a Business Analyst in IT or software development environments.

Proven experience in Agile, Scrum, or SDLC methodologies.

Experience with tools like Microsoft Azure, Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Dynamics 365, TFS, or similar.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

Proficient in technical documentation and data modeling.

Experience in system integrations, APIs, and databases.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Required Security clearance.

Preferred

Federal Experience is a plus.
