Responsibilities

General understanding of product complaint process/WebCycle/SAP and ability to close out tasks in a timely manner.
Act as a member of the Resolutions Team to enter, monitor, resolve and/or escalate product complaint issues in accordance with the standard resolution process.
Work successfully with all internal and external customers (Manufacturing, Lab, Sales, Tech Services as well as Tremco Distributors) to ensure a proper resolution to the complaint, and the distribution of appropriate reports with summaries and conclusions.
Assist in providing technical support for Tremco CPG product lines, making technically accurate recommendations to internal and external product line/application inquiries from Sales Department, architects, engineers, contractors, specifiers, etc.
Answer Tech Services Mailbox /HubSpot inquiries
Acquire a general understanding and ability to communicate results of Project Testing methods/techniques - ASTM C794 (Tab Adhesion-and-Peel), ASTM C1193 (Tab Adhesion), ASTM C1248 (Stain) and ASTM C1087 (Compatibility).
Assist Analytical Testing as it relates to product complaints.
Assist with making technically accurate recommendations to internal and external product line/application inquiries from Sales Department, architects, engineers, contractors, specifiers, etc.
Develop the various cross-functional skill sets of individuals on your team within the Technical Services Department.
Speak/write proficiently with respect to product usage, competitive product analysis, the Tremco website, product specification, product repairs and problems.
Assist with on- and off-site hands on training events (Quality Applicator Program QAP, Sales Training, etc.) and arranging product deliveries.
Assist with the development of Technical Bulletins, Application Instructions, Tech Data, Marketing collateral or white papers.

Required

High School Diploma or GED required.
1-2 years of Technical Service, Construction or Customer Service experience
Basic commercial construction knowledge of coatings, sealants and waterproofing.
Ability to interpret technical data sheets and applications information.
Experience with CRM software such as SAP and various processes

Preferred

Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Construction or a similar field preferred.
A general understanding of Standardized Test Methods (ASTM) is highly preferred
Familiar with third-party testing and certifications such as UL/Greenguard, AAMA and CDPH is preferred
