Responsibilities
Client Consultation: Work with clients to understand their business processes and requirements, providing expert advice on how the client's software solutions can meet their needs.
ERP Implementation: Lead the implementation of ERP software packages, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
Customization and Development: Develop custom solutions and enhancements using C#, Java, and COBOL to tailor client's software to client-specific requirements.
Technical Support: Provide ongoing technical support to clients, troubleshooting issues, and resolving them in a timely manner.
Training: Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate clients on the use and best practices of Client's software solutions.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including user guides, technical specifications, and training materials.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, sales, and customer support, to ensure client success and satisfaction.
Project Management: Support multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the enhancement of client's software solutions.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
5+ years of experience as a Technical Consultant, business analyst, or similar role, with significant experience in ERP software packages (ideally in IBM zOS CICS environments). Discrete manufacturing, project manufacturing and cost accounting knowledge desired.
Proficiency in programming languages C#, Java, and COBOL, in the development of web-based applications.
Proficiency in SQL Server (or Oracle) database design, creation, and use including SQL, T-SQL, and XML.
Ideally proficiency in IBM JCL and experience in TSO environment performing software upgrades and configuration.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop creative solutions to complex business challenges.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
A strong customer-centric mindset with the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
Proven ability to contribute to multiple projects and deliver high-quality results on time.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred
Experience in similar enterprise software solutions. Ideally MANTIS (or Visual Basic) and/or SUPRA (or DB2)
Technical certifications relevant to ERP systems and software development and/or IBM Systems Management.
Familiarity with cloud-based ERP solutions and SaaS models.
