Responsibilities

Manage and maintain a small fleet of CPU/GPU workstations, including those running Linux-based operating systems.
Ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of GitHub repositories, including version control, documentation, and collaboration workflows.
Oversee maintenance and migration of Python/R-based applications to ensure performance and scalability.
Lead database migration efforts, ensuring data integrity and efficiency throughout the process.
Identify, prioritize, and address technical debt across existing systems and workflows.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices in ETL processes and MLOps pipelines (if applicable).

Required

5–10 years of experience in technical operations, application maintenance, or similar roles.
Proven expertise in managing and maintaining CPU/GPU workstations, particularly with Linux-based systems.
Hands-on experience with GitHub repository management (branching, merging, and issue tracking).
Strong proficiency in Python and/or R programming for application development and maintenance.
Demonstrated ability in database migration, including schema design and data transformation.
Solid understanding of technical debt and strategies for its resolution.

Preferred

Experience in the pharmaceutical or scientific domain, with familiarity in bioinformatics or related fields.
Knowledge of ETL processes and best practices.
Exposure to MLOps workflows and tools for machine learning operations.
