Responsibilities
Researching and compiling technical data for use in various operations and maintenance manuals, training materials, system design documents, and other technical documentation.
Obtaining data from review of documentation, interviews with client and project personnel (SMEs), drawings, schematics, reports, and the study of published material. Researching and gathering technical and background information for inclusion in project documentation and deliverables.
Developing outlines and drafts for review and approval by technical specialists and stakeholders ensuring that final documents meet applicable contract requirements and regulations.
Translating technical information into clear, readable documentation to be used by both technical and non-technical users. Documentation includes technical documents, business proposals, memos, reports, user manuals, knowledge base articles, status reporting, briefings and presentations, functional descriptions, system specifications, guidelines, special reports, and other project deliverables to meet contract requirements.
Organizing and maintaining documents in a documentation repository.
Proofreading and providing feedback on materials prepared by peers.
Maintaining current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
May involve some supervisory/task lead responsibilities.

Required
Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, and work experience.
5+ years of related experience preparing technical documentation.
Security Clearance Level: Ability to earn Public Trust
Excellent writing/editing skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Experience with Confluence.
Preferred
Familiarity with remediation of technical documentation to comply with accessibility standards such as 508 compliance.
Familiarity with agile approaches such as scrum and SAFe are highly desired.
Familiarity with SharePoint and version control procedures.
Experience with Power Apps/Power Automate preferred.
Experience/background within the healthcare industry and/or government contracting is desirable.
