Responsibilities
Utilize monitoring tools such as LightsOn, Tachyon, and Splunk to identify and resolve end-user device, VA networking, and system issues.
Guide the troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues across various IT and healthcare teams, including local and enterprise-level IT departments, biomedical engineering teams, healthcare software providers, and government healthcare organizations, to ensure improved user experiences.
Manage the Tech Ops team, ensuring team availability and appropriate resource allocation.
Oversee technical analysis and systems engineering aspects for the Electronic Health Record (EHR) modernization, including:
Technical requirements development.
Network/system environment setup.
Testing, change management, release/deployment, support, and sustainment of COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf) product lines.
Monitor, identify, and address technical risks, gaps, and opportunities affecting the solution architecture's ability to meet requirements throughout its lifecycle.
Prepare analysis of alternatives presentations to support informed decision-making.
Collaborate proactively with Integration/Interfaces, Cyber, Infrastructure, Architecture, VA teams, Oracle Health, DoD, and other agencies to execute strategic plans and schedules.
Develop and maintain a backlog of work and track progress to completion.
Ensure consistent, clear, and timely communication with stakeholders, providing status updates, reports, and metrics.
Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
