Responsibilities

Planning and managing Technology projects.

Manage Retail projects through the full project lifecycle and be the liaison between the business, technical, and vendor teams.

Partner with project sponsors to define project objectives, scope, schedule, and budget.

Aide in converting project objectives through business, function, IT requirements phase.

Establish project charter and plan, including success criteria.

Create and manage project requirements, schedules, milestones, and deliverables to ensure quality and timeliness of all deliverables.

Ability to break down information in a systematic and communicable manner.

Ensure Compliance, Security and Legal involvement early in the program frame-up as appropriate.

Foster effective cross-functional communication and collaboration

Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and stakeholders.

Facilitate status meetings with project teams and summarize updates into clear communications on status reports and in project steering committee meetings.

Build, develop and grow business stakeholder relationships vital to the success of the project.

Proactively identify and manage risks, and act with a sense of urgency to resolve issues to drive projects to successful completion; ensure clear ownership of critical issues are established.

Work with the PMO on interdependencies with other projects and resource allocations

Conduct project retrospectives/lessons learned upon project completion and identify actionable recommendations to improve future projects.

Actively contribute to PMO methodologies with a focus on continuous improvement.

Required

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in technology-related field

5+ years project management experience

Can easily adapt in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment and multi-task across projects

Result-oriented and organized with demonstrated ownership ability

Presentation and written communication skills

A solutions-oriented mentality with a data-driven approach

Expert tracking, reporting, and follow-up skills

Strong communication and facilitation skills across all levels of the organization, with a proven ability to build cross-functional partnerships to make effective decisions collaboratively

Knowledge of best practices in project management processes, controls, and methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, etc.)

Preferred

ecommerce experience is a plus, but not required
