Responsibilities

Provide 24/7 support desk position, providing Level 1-3 remote support.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with 2 years of recent relevant experience.
In lieu of a degree, candidates must possess a minimum of 6 years of recent relevant experience.
Must Have System Expertise To Include: Configuration support for the end user.
Remote software troubleshooting with end user.
Remote network troubleshooting with end user.
Software testing for development team.
Experience with support tools and process refinement.
Documentation of issues, resolutions, and knowledge base articles.
Must be willing to travel up to 10%.
Must be willing to work rotating shift schedules with 8–12-hour shifts, night shifts, and weekend shifts.
Must be a U.S. citizen possess and maintain a Final Secret Clearance or be able to obtain and maintain a Final Secret Clearance.
Must be a resident of Huntsville, Alabama or be willing to relocate to the Huntsville, Alabama area.

Preferred

Ability to acquire IAT Level II Certification.
Experience as system administrator.
Experience in a service desk environment to include using ticketing system to track issues and issue resolution.
Strong attention to detail.
Strong experience with troubleshooting independently.
RedHat or other Linux distro experience.
Experience with TCP/IP networks.
Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Strong documentation skills.
Strong communication skills.
