Responsibilities
Conduct a thorough gap assessment of existing security and IT documentation.
Document findings in the Security Library spreadsheet.
Analyze the effort required to update existing documents and create new ones.
Develop and implement standardized documentation policies and controls applicable across all business groups
Ensure alignment with industry standards such as NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, and other security control frameworks.
Facilitate workshops with cross-functional teams to gather insights and develop procedures as needed.
Provide guidance and training on document governance best practices to internal stakeholders.
Update and/or create governance documents, including policies, procedures, and control frameworks.
Establish records management protocols for document classification, retention, and disposal.
Develop audit and compliance mechanisms to ensure adherence to governance frameworks.
Monitor and review documentation processes for continuous improvement opportunities.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in corporate governance, compliance, or a related field, preferably within the IT industry.
Strong understanding of corporate governance principles, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
In-depth knowledge of the documentation lifecycle and governance frameworks.
Proficiency in conducting gap assessments and process evaluations.
Technical writing experience
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
High ethical standards and integrity.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred
Extensive experience in developing and implementing Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) frameworks.
Familiarity with security control frameworks such as NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, etc.
