Responsibilities

Interacts with the Flexera Software Asset Management system to ensure data quality of new or changed Asset, Procurement, License and Contract records.

Creates ad-hoc Asset Management reports when required.

Develops Effective Licensing Positions (ELP) and generates software reconciliation reports.

Utilizes available tools to identify software for reclamation.

Ensures SAM policies and procedures are being followed in accordance to corporate standards.

Develop, implement and refine Software Asset Management processes and procedures.

Ensure compliance with software license agreements.

Apply understanding and experience with perpetual and subscription license models, SaaS, user licensing, device licensing, network licensing, metered/consumption-based licensing.

Drive enterprise risk reduction through collaboration with product owners by finding opportunities for software updates, reclamation or removal.

Share knowledge effectively within the work team.

Required

High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Preferred

Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in a Software Asset Management in a corporate environment.

Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study.

Possess a deep understanding of Software Asset Management standard methodologies, including a heavy software license management focus.

Hands on experience with FlexeraOne.

Excellent collaboration skills - Ability to work independently, as part of a software asset management team and with other internal and external teams to accomplish goals.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.

ServiceNow experience preferred.

CSAM certification preferred.

Experience in excel or Google sheets with the ability to create pivot tables.
