Responsibilities
Make significant contributions to supporting cost containment and supply chain optimization for the Practice.
Orchestrate supply management system initiatives, process automation, and bring innovation to Mayo Clinic.
Train, advise, and mentor SCM staff to fully enable an end-to-end digital supply chain.
Stay abreast of current industry trends and establish new methodologies for data-driven processes and digital enablement.
Maintain the project portfolio, advise on strategic initiatives, and track the value.
Participate in industry advisory and/or user groups.
Be highly articulate in both oral and written communications, including presentations with the ability to logically translate and disseminate technology insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Required
Bachelor's degree and minimum of 8 years relevant experience in health care, engineering, analytics, finance, supply chain or information systems; certifications may be considered in lieu of experience; Or, Master's degree in health care, data management, data science, information systems or business with 5 years' relevant experience in noted areas; certifications may be considered in lieu of experience.
Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to function independently required.
Professional and culturally astute communication skills (both written and verbal) are required, including ability to generate and deliver executive-level presentations.
Highly developed understanding of Finance and/or SCM end-to-end business processes; including systems utilized.
Demonstrated abilities in business process improvement, innovation and planning.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, Visio and Outlook.
Ability to work in a team environment and develop constructive working relationships with others.
Skilled in agile methodologies and tools.
Demonstrated abilities in developing relationships with colleagues, customers, executives and vendors in order to influence, facilitate and enhance SCM best business practices.
Strong investigational skills, shows attention to detail, accuracy and ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
Solid customer-service and/or business consulting skills.
Capable of being persuasive and able to lead teams through significant change.
