Responsibilities
Manage, mentor, and build a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative, supportive, and growth-oriented environment. Guide team members on technical challenges, career development, and coding best practices.
Work closely with the Product Manager and business stakeholders to understand requirements, provide feedback on product and process design, and align technical strategy with business objectives.
Maintain and improve DevOps, ITIL, and Agile management processes tailored to the team’s and organization’s needs, ensuring efficiency, quality, and scalability. Implement monitoring tools, establishing best practices of incident, service and request management.
Maintain and enforce coding standards, including frameworks, gitflow/source code management, Test Driven Development (TDD), Test Automation, and Behavioral Driven Development (BDD). Implement monitoring tools, create robust KPIs for uptime, data quality, job execution, etc.
Leverage strong proficiency in Salesforce (declarative and programmatic customization) to guide solutions, ensure best practices, and manage integrations. A Salesforce certification is required.
Lead initiatives related to data warehousing, using tools like DBT and Snowflake to enhance data processing and reporting capabilities.
Direct hands-on work or guidance in Python frameworks (e.g., Django, FastAPI), Apache Airflow, and PowerBI for efficient data manipulation, automation, and visualization. Drive technical architecture discussions, ensuring scalability, low technical-debt and lower cost of ownership. Review Pull Requests across the stack to ensure quality standards.
Oversee the team’s use of AWS services (ECS, EC2, S3, Code Pipeline, DynamoDB) and Terraform for infrastructure management, ensuring optimized cloud performance and reliability.
Interface with third party vendors to build, test and support their integrated solutions with our platform. Research, evaluate and make decisions on new capabilities, whether internally built or externally integrated, based on technical feasibility, total cost of ownership, and supportability.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
At least 3 years of proven experience as a Software Engineering Manager or similar role with a focus on Salesforce, Data Warehousing, and backend technologies.
Demonstrable skills in managing and scaling teams, with excellent people management skills and a proven track record of building high-performing teams.
Extensive expertise in Salesforce (declarative and programmatic), strongly preferring at least one Salesforce certification.
Proficiency in Data Warehousing tools (DBT, Snowflake), Python (Django, FastAPI), and Apache Airflow.
Familiarity with PowerBI for data visualization and AWS services (ECS, EC2, S3, Code Pipeline, DynamoDB) and Terraform for cloud infrastructure management.
Strong understanding of Agile, DevOps, and ITIL principles, with practical experience implementing these frameworks.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen ability to design efficient processes and solutions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred
Experience building CI/CD pipelines and test automation tools.
Experience in the legacy technology industry or Mass Tort.
ITIL certification or knowledge
Experience with highly regulated systems (SOC2, HIPAA compliant)
