Responsibilities
Pull cable.
Terminate complex voice/data devices: RJ45, RJ11, Computer Hubs, Patch Panels, Fiber Optic cable backbone.
Understand wiring code for the computer/telephone industry.
Understand blueprints, and design cable routing.
Have a general understanding of telecommunications basics.
Have a general understanding of computer basics.
Have a general understanding of computer connectivity.
Have two years general electrical experience.

Required
Install all types of required cabling for the organization, including the termination of cable to complex connector devices.
Be knowledgeable of wiring codes and standards, operational procedures and OSHA requirements.

Have two years general electrical experience.
High school (G.E.D.). One to three years experience in Voice and Data Wiring, low voltage wiring.
