Responsibilities
Graphic Design: Use Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop to design print and digital collateral.
Digital: Track and report on reach, engagement, and outcomes for all channels. Update Aeon's website, manage CRM, and design and distribute emails.
Employee Communications: Support employee recruitment activities, publish staff eNewsletter, and edit staff communications.
Public Relations: Monitor media coverage, develop media lists, attend PR meetings, write press releases, and manage crisis messaging.
General: Participate in the Advancement team, work with print vendors, write and launch monthly eNewsletter, project manage communications campaigns.

Required
Previous experience in a marketing or communications function through employment or internship opportunities is required
Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop for print and digital design is required
Ability to understand marketing and communications as it relates to Aeon's brand-building and fundraising efforts
Excellent writing and editing skills
Understanding of changing technologies, and ability to successfully utilize digital and other channels in integrated marketing, communication, and fundraising strategies
Proven ability to engage with diverse communities in a way that is responsive to individual and collective needs and expectations
Results-driven style, personal accountability, and excellent time management skills
Must have a commitment to learning and participating in Aeon's diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts
Must be a resourceful, problem-solving, relationship-building, seeker of excellence
Preferred
Familiarity with WordPress and basic understanding of HTML/CSS is a plus
