Responsibilities

Partner with Business Leaders and Hiring Managers to understand the short and long-term hiring needs and help develop strategies with TA Leadership.
Conduct searches using traditional and creative sourcing methods, including candidate outreach, online searches, job postings, internal database searches, industry organizations and associations, and referrals.
Advise hiring partners on key decisions throughout the hiring process, including resume review, interview process and overall process improvement.
Conduct initial phone screens to assess talent and experience.
Communicate benefits of working for Kemper and details about open positions.
Preparation of offer letters and background checks.
Proactively engage in discussions to identify opportunities for improvement across all areas of talent acquisition.

Required

2+ years of recruiting experience
Ability to understand changing market dynamics and subsequently be creative in finding candidates to fit those parameters
A superior sense of urgency with the demonstrated ability to deliver results.
Ability to succeed in fast past environment and adapt to change quickly
Flexibility and responsiveness in managing multiple projects in sometimes high-pressure situations simultaneously
Strong conceptual, as well as quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
Strong people skills with exceptional oral and written communication skills.
Detail oriented and highly organized

Preferred

1 + year recruiting in auto insurance claims strongly preferred
Bachelor's degree a plus
Experience with high volume recruiting a plus
Experience with an ATS system. Experience with Workday a plus
