Responsibilities
Teach a range of courses (for example mathematics, statistics, or data science / computer science) while contributing to interdisciplinary research initiatives.
Collaborate with faculty in the department and across colleges and campuses to advance research in signature areas.
Contribute to the growth of engineering programs and meet the increasing demand for expertise in engineering informed machine learning.

Required
Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Physics, or a closely related field.
At least 18 graduate-level credit hours in one of the following disciplines: Mathematics, Statistics, or Physical Science.
Evidence of, or demonstrated potential towards, a strong research agenda in a core focus area, but with interest in fostering collaborations across disciplines within and beyond the department.
